Salary: Up to £35k
Hours of Work: 42 hours per week – Overtime available
Key Responsibilities:
- Upkeep and tidying of plant rooms and equipment serving modern, high-standard office buildings
- Cleaning and painting of equipment, plant and plant room floors
- Chemical cleaning of equipment using high-pressure jet washer
- Delivery of spares to site
- Basic building maintenance tasks including meter readings and tap temperature checks
- Assisting Building Services Technicians
- Regular and effective communication with clients, suppliers and other personnel to maintain and develop excellent professional working relationships and ensure smooth operation of the business
- Organising work and time efficiently and working supportively within a team
- Submitting clear, concise and accurate reports of works carried out, with recommendations for any further work required
- Submitting weekly accurate timesheets
- Communicating with Contracts Managers on job progression
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Previous maintenance experience
- Good organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic PC skills – Word, Excel, Outlook
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HVAC industry
- Knowledge of air conditioning systems
- Training in health and safety
