Job Description
Based at One St Peter's Square, Manchester, you'll be part of the Cambridge Maintenance team, carrying out fault finding, repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across a range of electrical systems within a high-profile commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure that the maintenance, servicing and repair works are carried out in accordance with Cambridge Maintenance and current relevant legislation.
- To communicate regularly and effectively with the client, suppliers and other Cambridge Maintenance personnel to maintain and develop excellent professional working relationships and ensure smooth operation of the business.
- To organise works allocated time efficiently and work supportively within a team.
- To complete site logs and site diaries daily.
- To submit clear, concise and accurate task sheets and reports (with photographs) daily in support of works carried out, with clear recommendations for any further work required.
- To be able to undertake basic Plumbing/Mechanical works.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge
- Knowledge of Electrical Installation works within commercial properties.
- Ability to fault find Electrical equipment faults within commercial properties.
- Basic Fault diagnosis and rectification on Commercial Fire Alarm system.
- Experienced in Emergency light annual testing.
- Experience with DALI lighting control systems.
- Experience with BMS control wiring and fault finding.
Essential Qualifications
- City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Full Electrical Apprenticeship (AM2 & NVQ)
Desirable
- JIB registered.
- IPAF mobile access license.
- PASMA Cert.
