Job Description

Would you like to help eliminate rough sleeping in Cambridge and assist people in staying off the streets for good?

We\’re looking for a motivated, energetic individual to join Cambridge City Council\’s social lettings agency, Townhall Lettings (THL). The successful candidate will help formerly homeless people move into their new homes, ensuring their tenancy starts well, and support individuals to sustain their tenancies, with the aim of transitioning THL tenants into mainstream housing.

The post holder will collaborate closely with support services and the housing advice team to help individuals break the cycle of homelessness.

You should have the motivation and resilience to help individuals recover from homelessness trauma, along with teamwork and partnership skills to access support services. We particularly welcome applications from those with experience supporting people with lived homelessness experience.

This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference by helping people off and stay off the streets of Cambridge, working with a dedicated team of professionals.

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours/week. Flexible working patterns can be discussed.

Contract: Fixed Term until December 2025

Salary: £31,586 – £35,235 per annum (City Pay band 4)

Location: Flexible – on-site, office, or home working in Cambridge.
