Join Cambridge City Council as a Finance Systems Accountant and play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining our financial systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage financial systems (Technology One financials and Capita income management).
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Provide technical support and training to system users.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
- Manage financial reporting requirements for the council.
- Monitor and implement system upgrades and improvements.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in managing financial systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours: This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £40,476 - £45,718 per annum (City Pay Band 6)
Location: This is flexible - working on site or at our Cambridge offices. You will be able to balance our work location accordingly.
