You should be comfortable leading on projects, debugging complicated systems and have an appreciation for the need to occasionally set project work to one side to debug and fix high priority issues in real time. You’ll need a passion for your work, along with a desire to help others progress their technical skills through close collaboration, coaching and mentoring.
Must have:
- AWS (EKS/EC2/S3/IAM)
- Infrastructure as Code - Pulumi with TypeScript
- Production-grade software engineering
- JS framework experience - express / Astro or similar
- Code management and version control - git and GitLab
- CI/CD - GitLab Pipelines and AutoDevOps
- Observability - DataDog and CloudWatch
- CDN configuration - CloudFlare
Nice to have:
- Internal Developer Platform experience - Backstage or similar
- Security - for Platforms and web applications
- Task orchestration for monorepos - turbo, Nx or similar
- JS build tooling - vite, webpack, rollup or similar
- Experience building/configuring auth libraries/services
- Experience working in, and/or setting up, an ISO governed environment

The Platform Team currently consists of two Platform Engineers, two QA Engineers and a Platform Manager.
