Part-time Temporary Casual Work £14.80 per hour plus Holiday Pay
Job Purpose
To support the effective management of the College bar, overseeing day-to-day operations, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with licensing, health & safety, and College procedures.
Main duties
- Oversee bar operations during service, including opening and closing
- Supervise and support Student Bar Workers and assist with staffing rotas
- Support stock control, ordering, pricing, and product selection
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and responsible alcohol service
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and record keeping
- Assist with recruitment, induction, and training of bar staff
- Liaise with key College staff regarding events, security, and operations
- Monitor customer behaviour to ensure a safe and respectful environment
