The Porter works under the direction of the Head Porter and plays a key role in the efficient day-to-day operation of the Porters’ Lodge. As the principal point of contact and public entrance to the College, the Porters’ Lodge provides a professional, customer-focused front-of-house, reception and security service to Fellows, alumni, staff, students and visitors.

Porters are integral to the smooth running of College operations, delivering a welcoming, helpful and secure environment for all members of the College community. Through their daily interactions and support, Porters contribute significantly to the overall experience of students, staff and visitors and help create a positive and lasting impression of the College.
