Job Description: As Management Accountant, you will support the Assistant Director of Finance and wider Finance team by providing clear, timely, and insightful financial information that supports confident and well‑informed decision‑making across the business. You will play a key role in translating complex financial data into meaningful analysis, ensuring performance is understood, opportunities are identified, and risks are managed with care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for Cambridge House, delivering a full suite of reporting including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working in close partnership with department heads to develop realistic, well‑considered plans.
  • Deliver clear and insightful variance analysis and translate financial performance into practical, actionable insight.
  • Establish and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures that align with best practice.
  • Support the pre‑opening phase, playing a key role in finance systems set‑up, chart of accounts design, and supplier and cost structures.
  • Partner closely with operational teams to support effective cost control, revenue optimisation, and margin improvement.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance at all times.
  • Assist with year‑end processes, audits, and statutory reporting, liaising with external auditors and advisors as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider finance team to deliver a seamless, supportive, and highly professional finance function.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a management accounting role, ideally within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
