Under the general supervision of Department Leadership, and in accordance with CHA established policies and procedures, the qualified candidate will provide high-level administrative support and perform a variety of office procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provides a variety of administrative functions to support the work of the CDO/CCO.
- Assists in preparation and follow-up of meetings by preparing materials, minutes and all necessary follow-throughs. This will include Board, staff and community meetings.
- Writes and inputs all minutes, memos, correspondence and reports as directed.
- Organizes daily activities for DCO/CCO, including schedules, special events and travel, ongoing communications/correspondence, and coordinating, executing and purchasing supplies.
- Maintains computer databases including but not limited to donors/funders, budgets, staffing, and grants.
- Ensures timely and accurate budget, reimbursement, distribution, and reporting for grant funds.
- Data management and information system experience related to data entry, cleaning, and report writing.
- Demonstrated effective project management skills and experience.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work well with diverse clients, peers and managers throughout CHA.
- Ability to take concise and comprehensive notes and to communicate clearly in written and oral communication.
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of donor software (CRM such as Raiser’s Edge, Events Software).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an administrative assistant is required.
