Responsibilities
- Ensure an on-time arrival on site, along with all relevant tools, materials and equipment required to effectively undertake the required groundworks
- Undertake surveys where required to assess site requirements
- To liaise in a professional manner with customers so that they are always kept informed
- To effectively communicate with suppliers and other members of the organisation to ensure efficiency is maintained
- Arrange maintenance of any company property, equipment, machinery, and tools used, to ensure safe and effective usage
- Undertake paperwork in an appropriate and timely way as required
- Deliver great customer service internally and externally
- Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing for self and others, always complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures
About you
Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
Relevant industry qualifications are an advantage, but not essential. More importantly we require you to be able to demonstrate your experience in delivering high quality work in the full range of disciplines, and within agreed timescales.
You will also be required to demonstrate the ability to multi-task whilst working autonomously, in a physically demanding environment.
Your skills and Knowledge
- Full range of disciplines including but not limited to; hard landscaping/patio work, trench work, drainage, soakaways, connecting services, and site clearance
- Use of site equipment (mini diggers/excavators)
- Delivering high quality work to agreed timescales
- Accurately interpret plans and drawings
- Customer service
- Full driving licence essential

- Reliable, organised, hard-working
- Logical and methodical with attention to detail
- Works tidily and can encourage a similar culture across the team
- Enjoy a physical work environment in all weathers (including manual lifting), and be prepared to multi-task
- Self-starter with an ability to problem-solve, and a determination to maintain highest standards of organisation
- Ability and willingness to effectively adapt to change
- Prepared to assist other teams where required to ensure output
- Effectively communicate with all colleagues, clients, and suppliers

The role is based out of Cottenham, Cambridge, but covers the wider East Anglia area and is a great opportunity to work and grow within a friendly and successful team.
