Senior Analog IC Design Engineer

CGD is a fabless semiconductor company developing energy‑efficient Ga N‑based power devices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and layout of Ga N power ICs using EDA tools (schematic capture, analog simulations, layout review, PEX, PLS).
  • Design and implement solutions for testing of Ga N Power ICs, including wafer‑level and packaged device tests.
  • Document, evaluate and debug chips.
  • Develop SPICE models of Ga N ICs.
  • Generate IP and support the management team with patent applications and IP management.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering or science subject.
  • Experience in analog design with Ga N.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of analog IC design.
  • Proficient in the EDA design process (schematic capture, analog simulations, layout, DRC, LVS, PEX, PLS).
  • Knowledge of electrical test and characterization of analog ICs.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Creative thinker with practical skills and experience.
  • Confident communicator who inspires colleagues, partners and customers.
  • Pro‑active and responsive to change in a fast‑paced startup environment.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Focus on precise and high‑quality results.
  • Attention to detail.

Desirable

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with power ICs.
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor Calibre.
