Cambridge Enterprise is seeking an enthusiastic Office and Events Manager to join ideaSpace, a thriving co-working space for Cambridge\’s brightest entrepreneurial minds.

Your day to day will include:

  • Office & Community Management: Ensure our West Cambridge office is a productive and engaging environment. Whether welcoming new people or running an efficient working environment.
  • Event Management: Create and execute a vibrant events program, fostering community and collaboration across Cambridge.
  • Communications: Craft high-quality content for newsletters and other channels to keep our community informed and connected.
  • Team working: your team will help you to deliver top class events, and you\’ll occasionally support them and our members across our three Cambridge offices.

What we\’re looking for:

  • Experience in office administration with a strong eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to organise and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will be happy to muck in with the little things that make an office tick, from emptying the dishwasher and loading fridges to welcoming visitors and inducting new members.
  • Experience in event planning and execution, ensuring smooth delivery. (Occasionally you will need to work out of hours to deliver events)
  • A passion for creating high-quality content for various platforms.
  • The kind of attitude that looks for solutions and ways forward.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of the University of Cambridge or the wider Cambridge innovation ecosystem.
  • Experience with community management tools (online and offline).
  • Confidence presenting and delivering content in engaging ways.
  • Understanding of venture creation and the support needs of early-stage businesses.
