We have a new opening for a Direct Sales Coordinator at our OnCampus division, part of Cambridge Education Group!

About the role

The Direct Sales Coordinator is integral to nurturing and converting enquiries and leads generated from our direct sales channels into successful course applications. The role involves engaging with prospective students that want to study with OnCampus to facilitate their journey from initial interest to qualification for a successful course offer.

As such, the successful candidate will be supporting the Direct Sales Student Advisors in meeting individual/territory targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by contacting prospects directly as soon as the lead is created to ensure swift engagement with the view to increase conversion to Qualified status.

The role is on a full-time, fixed-term contract for 5 months, with the location in Cambridge, United Kingdom. We operate under a Hybrid Working policy whereas 3 days can be worked from home.

Other activities as a Direct Sales Coordinator at OnCampus:

  • Engage with prospective students generated through direct sales channels such as paid search, organic search, referral sites and others.
  • Contact prospects directly as soon as the Lead is created to ensure swift engagement with the view to increase conversion to Warm/Qualified status.
  • Deliver exceptional service and guidance to facilitate the conversion of enquiries strong applications with Offers issued.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the student conversion process and enhance the overall sales strategy.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and progresses within the CRM system to track and improve the conversion metrics.
  • Intensive activity by telephone, email, instant messaging, online live chat and other mediums.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent work-based learning (essential).
  • Familiar with modern technology, with strong online and telephone etiquette (essential).
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, punctual and highly organised.
  • Attention to detail, cultural awareness and sensitivity, understanding of the educational landscape.
  • Ability to clearly convey complex information in a way that others can readily follow.
  • Supportive team player who thrives under pressure.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Great to have, but not essential:

  • Experience of working in sales, preferably in a call centre environment (desirable).
  • Experience living/studying abroad (desirable).
  • Familiarity with the higher education sector in at least one of the following countries: UK, Ireland, France, (desirable).
  • Exposure to international student recruitment (desirable).
