The Leadership within our client's Strategy & Transformation team are seeking to hire a high-performing and capable individual at the Associate Director level. This person will have broad strategy and/or transformation experience, either from consulting or in-house, across either private defence or industrial markets industries, such as infrastructure, utilities, automotive, chemicals, digital printing and more.
This team works closely with c-suite and senior executives to identify and execute transformation opportunities that add and protect value for shareholders, employees and society. Responsibilities:
- Build deep client relationships and be seen as the 'go to' person and a trusted advisor by senior executives.
- Support the identification, pursuit and conversion of a pipeline of business development opportunities.
- Actively develop own knowledge and expertise in chosen proposition(s) and sector of choice.
- Lead the design of complex engagements and take responsibility for leading day-to-day delivery.
- Undertake scoping and fee negotiation on standard engagements.
- Build and maintain an internal and external network.
- Understand risk and ensure that Firm's risks management frameworks are adhered to.
- Inspire, motivate coach and develop project team members and appraisees, and give constructive 360 degree feedback.
- Identify, design and lead critical complex practice development initiatives, coordinating other members of the team.
Your experience:
- Proven experience working in a leading strategy house, Big 4 firm, public sector organisation or strategy / development team in industry.
- Detailed understanding of the value drivers within industrial markets and/or private defence.
- Track record of leading complex projects in industrial markets and/or private defence with multi-disciplinary teams in a consulting, corporate or public sector environment.
- Experience of managing or supporting high-value business development activities with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrable ability to build and commercialise relationships with senior executives.
