What will you be doing?
As a Senior Programme Officer for the GCP, you will support the management of the major Transport Programme which includes significant investment in public and active travel. This will require excellent communication skills as you work with major stakeholders such as Network Rail, National Highways and Natural England. You will be overseeing monthly financial and delivery reporting processes across the GCP programme to ensure the smooth running of the GCP and the delivery of its ambitious £500m+ programme. You will ensure that major projects are on track and escalate issues to senior members of the team where required.
About you
You will be a team player and require a good understanding of programme and project management, ideally focused within the Transport field. You will have the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and want the challenge that the considerable financial and strategic value of the programme to be delivered will bring. You will need to be a go‑getter that doesn't let the details slip, organised and someone that thrives on interaction to get the work done.
