Location: Reading with hybrid working

We are looking for someone to lead the development of our Asset Finance (AF) credit scorecards as well as supporting AF credit risk management improvements generally. You will identify the key data used to drive automated decisions and support implementation of the infrastructure required to support model-driven resolutions. You will create and manage the portfolio MI for Asset Finance. You will act as the bank’s subject matter expert for Asset Finance scorecard decisioning and liaise closely with our modelling team to build scorecards, data structures, bureau integration, and risk modelling for Asset Finance, while also contributing to strategic improvements in credit efficiency, automation, MI, and portfolio oversight. About you

  • Ability to lead, influence and provide senior cover in a regulated environment.
  • Previous experience in credit scorecard development and modelling in the AF sector.
  • Ability to understand and translate business needs into structured data requirements.
  • Experience of working at a senior level in an asset finance business.
  • Sound working knowledge of credit policies, asset finance underwriting and risk management principles.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and ability to balance risk with business objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate analytics to non‑technical stakeholders.
