Salary: £40,000-£55,000pa

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Product & Proposition team, to be a subject matter expert within the bank for the lending products. You would support the commercial performance of our Asset Finance, Real Estate Finance and Savings propositions by shaping and delivering pricing changes, performance insights and test-and-learn activity that improve portfolio profitability and sustainable growth.

You would use data, customer insight and market intelligence to develop recommendations, coordinate delivery with Finance, Marketing, IT and BI, and ensure good customer outcomes and appropriate governance. If you have experience working in Product Management, then we would love to hear from you!

About you

For this role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Product management experience within financial services, fintech or a lender, with exposure to pricing and performance for lending and deposit products.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to identify opportunities, define hypotheses, and drive improvements through delivery and experimentation.
  • Understanding of lending/savings economics (funding costs, net interest margin, expected loss, capital and operational costs) and how these translate into pricing decisions.
  • Experience of making rate/price changes on either deposit or lending products.
  • Experience working with Credit Risk, Marketing and Compliance partners to ensure changes are well governed and customer outcomes are considered.
  • Experience partnering with Finance/Treasury (or equivalent) on inputs to rate setting, forecasting and performance management.
  • Ability to work closely with frontline and operational teams to understand issues, translate needs into actions, and support effective rollout.
  • Comfortable working with complex and/or ambiguous data sets; able to reach meaningful conclusions and communicate limitations and assumptions.
  • PC skills including Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable working with BI tools/dashboards and presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • Analytical and commercial: strong quantitative skills; ability to interpret performance drivers and make clear trade-offs.
  • Pricing expertise: segmentation, promotional strategy, rate/risk ladders, and governance.
  • Experimentation and measurement: test design, statistical intuition, KPI definition, and performance storytelling.
  • Stakeholder management: effective influence across Risk, Marketing, Finance/Treasury, Compliance, and IT.
  • Execution excellence: ability to move from strategy to delivery; comfortable with agile ways of working.
