Salary: £45,000 to £50,000pa
We are looking for someone to join our Transformation team on a 12 month fixed term contract, who can interpret business needs and requirements and translate them into high quality test approaches. You would ensure the functional readiness of software and hardware products before they are released into the live environment. You would also design, develop and execute appropriate testing to identify any defects before live deployment. If you have Financial Services experience, excellent problem-solving ability, and great communication skills, then we would love to hear from you.
About you
For this role you will need the following skills and experience:
- Experience of creating and evaluating agreed internal test approaches.
- Significant previous experience of interpreting business needs and requirements and translating them into test approaches.
- Demonstrable experience in writing, evaluating and executing test scripts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication skills with both internal colleagues and with 3rd party suppliers.
- Previous experience of Functional and UAT Testing.
- Demonstrable knowledge of and experience working with project management principles, e.g. RAID logs, Project plans, Project phases etc. and experience using JIRA or similar ticket system.
- Excellent organisational skills.
