We are looking for someone to play a critical role in maintaining and supporting the organisation’s on‑premise SQL Server estate, ensuring resilience, performance, and security for business‑critical systems. Sitting within the IT Helpdesk team, this role requires SQL Server expertise and either prior exposure to Azure SQL / Azure Data Services or a clear aptitude for research, learning, and developing new cloud‑focused skills. About you
For this role you will need the following skills and experience:
- SQL DBA experience.
- SSIS/SSRS experience.
- Performance tuning expertise.
- Azure exposure or aptitude to learn.
- Scripting (PowerShell) or aptitude to learn.
- CI/CD familiarity.
- GDPR/security awareness.
- A willingness to learn and develop skills aligned to the Bank’s cloud and data strategy.
