How to prepare for a job interview at Cambridge & Counties Bank

✨Know Your Tech Inside Out

Make sure you brush up on your T-SQL skills and get comfortable with Power BI and PowerApps. Be ready to discuss how you've used these tools in the past, and maybe even prepare a mini demo or example of a project you've worked on. This will show that you not only understand the tech but can also apply it effectively.

Prepare to discuss specific instances where your attention to detail made a difference in your work. Whether it was catching an error in a report or ensuring a dashboard was user-friendly, having concrete examples will highlight this crucial skill that the company values.

✨Understand the Business Context

Familiarise yourself with the financial services industry and the metrics used to measure performance. Being able to relate your technical skills to real-world business outcomes will set you apart. Consider how your previous work has impacted business decisions and be ready to share those insights.
