- Defining, specifying and architecting RF/uWave component sub-systems and end to end radio systems
- Testing and evaluating novel radio architectures and components
- Simulating and designing RF hardware
About you
You will have a degree (or higher) in electronic engineering or a related discipline, with knowledge of RF/uWave radio systems development, circuit design and measurement.
You will have experience in some of the following areas:
- Analogue circuit design
- Radio architecture design
- Circuit, system and EM simulation tools such as Microwave office, CST and HFSS
- Component specification and selection
- Component and radio debug and testing using equipment such as VNA\’s, spectrum/signal analysers, signal generators etc
- Schematic capture with tools such as Altium
- Strong written, documentation and verbal communications skills
- Strong presentation skills with a client and management focus
- Guiding PC board layout designers
- EVT/DVT/PVT testing and analysis
- Designing and testing to EMC and regulatory standards
- An understanding of radio link budgets
- Antenna design desirable
What we can offer
