Job Details
- Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
- Place of work: On‑site at our Head Office in Ely, with hybrid options
Role
You will lead and develop a high‑performing sales team.
Responsibilities
Team responsibilities:
- Manage day‑to‑day sales team activity and priorities
- Set and monitor team KPIs, ensuring accountability
- People‑management activities including onboarding, performance, capability and conduct
- Motivate, coach and develop team members to maximise performance
Individual responsibilities:
- Build and manage customer relationships to drive sales
- Achieve individual KPIs and deliver team revenue and margin targets
- Execute the sales strategy across the UK market
- Use market research tools to understand trends influencing strategy
- Track performance, identify gaps and implement corrective actions
- Support key customer meetings and strategic accounts
- Work closely with senior leadership on budgeting and forecasting
- Present monthly board reports
- Represent the business at conferences and trade shows
Requirements
- Experienced sales professional with proven track record of consistently meeting sales targets
- Management and leadership of a high‑performing team, including performance and capability management, coaching, mentoring and KPI setting
- CRM system usage/management (preferably HubSpot)
- Tracking sales pipelines and accurate forecasting
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Adaptable, resilient and trustworthy
