The Resident Engagement Officer plays a key role in strengthening how tenants and leaseholders shape the services they receive. You’ll develop meaningful opportunities for residents to participate in local decision‑making, ensuring the Council meets its responsibilities as a registered landlord.
In this dynamic and people‑focused role, you’ll coordinate engagement events, consultations, surveys and resident‑led projects, while supporting tenant and leaseholder representatives and the Housing Advisory Board. Working closely with teams across the Council and community partners, this role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusive engagement, community voice and delivering positive outcomes for Cambridge’s tenants and leaseholders.
Hours: This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week. Although the role is advertised as full time, if you believe you have the skills and experience to join us and would like to discuss different working patterns, please do get in touch.
Working Pattern: 37 hrs, to be worked between Monday – Friday, covering the core hours of the service. Occasional evenings and weekends, in line with the role requirements.
Contract: Maternity Cover - 13-Months
Salary: £37,280 - £41,771 per annum City Pay Band 5, pro rata for part time.
Location: Cambridge, 50% of week is office based or out on estate.
