We are recruiting a Home Visiting Officer to join our busy Housing Advice Service. The role involves visiting social housing register applicants in their homes to verify their housing circumstances to ensure the accurate assessment of their housing needs for re-housing. The role will also work closely with our Housing Advisors, Homeless Prevention Officers and Fraud Officers, playing a key part in identifying early opportunities to prevent homelessness and the detection of potential social housing fraud.
We are looking for someone with strong communication and people skills who is pro-active, can work independently and is happy to travel around Cambridge and the surrounding area. An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.
