Reference: CCC00333 Description: Join one of the largest council house builders in the countryThe Role:You will be joining the high performing Development team in the Economy and Place Group, operating in a focused geographical area within Cambridge.Cambridge City council are 50% of a joint venture with Hill Partnerships Limited which is known as the Cambridge Investment Partnership (CIP). CIP have delivered over 1,000 new homes over the last seven years with high customer satisfaction rates, excellent energy efficiency and strong links with supply chain partners.The Development team leads the council’s interest in CIP. The current business plan incorporates an ambitious target to develop 2,400 homes to start on site within the next 5 years to meet the Council’s Sustainable Housing Design Guide. The team are also responsible for the Civic Quarter regeneration and developing innovative plans for a district heat network.The city council’s development team are looking for an individual with a track record in project managing new build development schemes and reviewing capital assets as part of the Council strategic asset management plan.
