Description: Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) will lead to fundamental changes to the way that local authority services are provided for residents, businesses and other stakeholders in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. As part of the wider project team, you will play a key role in developing proposals for new unitary councils in the area.You will provide research, analysis, advice and solution design for the council's Cabinet, Chief Executive and Leadership Team on Local Government Reorganisation and other strategic issues. You will also work with the Strategy Lead to maintain the Council's strategy and policy framework and help ensure that council services are well placed to respond to external policy developments.You will join us with experience of working in strategy or policy development and will use your research and data analysis skills to provide policy insights, advice and briefings and speed.
