We’re looking for Litigation Lawyers to join our collaborative team and play a key role at the centre of high-impact public sector work, providing legal advice that directly supports our communities. We have opportunities at both Lawyer and Senior Lawyer level, and we’re open to a range of experience.

If you have strong litigation skills and are ready to develop your career in a supportive, forward-thinking team, we’d like to hear from you. You’ll provide clear, practical legal advice to officers and members across the partnership, and your work will include:

  • Advising on a wide range of litigation matters across the County Court, High Court and Tribunals
  • Managing your own caseload, including preparing legal documentation and representing the councils at hearings
  • Supporting key service areas including housing, licensing and regulatory matters
  • Advising on complex legal issues, including local government powers and duties

At Senior Lawyer level, you will also lead on more complex or high-profile matters, work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to mentoring and developing colleagues. As a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX Fellow with litigation experience, you’ll enjoy providing practical, solution-focused legal advice and working collaboratively across organisations.
