The Role and About the Person you are looking for:

  • Customer Service & Communication orientated: Provide friendly, professional assistance to the public via intercom, phone, and email.
  • Mobility Equipment Support: Assess new customers, issue appropriate mobility aids (scooters/wheelchairs), demonstrate safe usage, and ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Facility & Site Monitoring: Conduct regular inspections of parking and Shopmobility areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational standards; promptly report any issues or hazards.
  • Administration & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate electronic records for customer usage, equipment inventory, revenue, and permits; manage databases and support daily operational coordination.

An Enhanced DBS check is required for this post. Full driving licence required.

Hours: This is a full-time role, averaging Working Pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday (Week 1) Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Week 2).

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £29,540 - £32,061 per annum (City Pay Band 3) pro-rata for part time.

Location: Primarily at Grand Arcade, but will need to travel between all car parks around the city.
