We are looking for someone to manage the day-to-day operation of Clay Farm Centre and Trumpington Pavilion in accordance with all statutory requirements and Council procedures, ensuring that both venues are safe and welcoming for all. You will develop the programme to reflect the needs of the whole community that we serve, reacting to changes in council policies and priorities and making the best use of the centre facilities and the support of community groups.
You will oversee the operation of the library service from Clay Farm Centre, in partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council. You will be confident and able to lead an efficient, high performing team of staff and volunteers, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture. You will have a strong sense of accountability, able to manage the Centre budget, including financial planning, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and other relevant policies.
You will liaise and work closely with local organisations, stakeholders, and our advisory group to ensure the centre reflects the needs and aspirations of the community. Your goal is to deliver a programme of activities and events that meets the needs of the local community and balance the budget by making astute deals with commercial hirers. Hours: This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week. Monthly rota which will include occasional evenings and weekend working.

Salary: GBP 45,718 - GBP 50,788 per annum (City Pay Band 7)
