This role is within a team of staff working at The Meadows Community Centre in the North of Cambridge City. Taking responsibility for the building, contents and site security you will ensure a safe and welcoming physical environment for staff and visitors of the centre. In addition to security, caretaking and cleanliness; we will look to you to work as part of a team to ensure a positive customer experience to our visitors and to support the Centre Manager in the efficient and effective running of the centre. You will have the chance to liaise with many different groups and people on a daily basis and you will take part in the set up, operation and set down of equipment for events, hospitality, regular site checks and administration; as well as ensuring that all records are up to date.

About You:
As someone who has previously worked with members of the public and a wide range of customers you will be able to demonstrate your communication skills and ability to prioritise tasks. With experience of event delivery and/ or cleaning/ caretaking in a similar environment we will look to you to show how reliable, flexible, approachable and helpful you are. There’ll be times when you will need to work on your own initiative or as part of a team and either way this will be something you will do with ease.

Contract: Permanent
