Are you passionate about supporting people to maintain stable homes and thrive in their communities? We’re seeking Tenancy Sustainment Officers to join our Health and Wellbeing (Housing Support) team, where you’ll play a key role in preventing tenancy breakdown by providing practical, person-centred support to tenants who may be facing complex challenges.

You’ll work closely with tenants, colleagues and partner organisations to provide early intervention, advocacy and guidance that helps people overcome barriers, manage their tenancies successfully and build long-term stability. Your work will include:

  • Providing compassionate, practical, person-centred support to help tenants with complex needs sustain their tenancies
  • Assessing needs, developing support plans, and reviewing progress to achieve positive outcomes, demonstrating accountability in delivering high-quality support
  • Supporting tenants with income maximisation, benefits, debt, and budgeting, using a solution-focused approach
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to coordinate support and make referrals
  • Delivering trauma-informed support in homes, offices, and the community while managing your own caseload
  • Identifying and reporting safeguarding concerns, tenancy issues, repairs, and health and safety risks, showing courage in addressing complex challenges
  • Encouraging tenants to access community services to improve wellbeing and independence
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and safeguarding responsibilities

Hours: We currently have three vacancies available, two full time and one part time. The full-time roles are 37 hours a week, and the part time is for 29.5 hours a week. Contract: Permanent

Salary: £37,280 to £41,771 per annum (City Pay Band 5), pro rata for part time.

Location: The main office base is in Cambridge (with travel around the City as service needs dictate) but you can also balance this with working from home.
