We are looking for a Retrofit Project Manager to lead the delivery of Cambridge City Council's housing retrofit investment programme, improving the energy efficiency, comfort and performance of Council homes.
As part of the Council’s Energy and Retrofit team – which oversees all retrofit activity across the Council’s housing and mixed tenure buildings – you will translate ambition into action, delivering high quality, whole-building retrofit projects across a varied housing portfolio and help develop the team and systems needed to scale retrofit across Cambridge.
What you’ll do:
- Lead retrofit projects across Council homes, from feasibility through to delivery
- Specify works, appoint and manage specialist consultants and oversee contract delivery
- Develop practical, innovative retrofit solutions for different property types
- Work collaboratively across Council services and with external partners
- Help build team capability, processes and capacity to scale retrofit delivery
- Manage and motivate a team to deliver customer focussed projects on time and within budget

Hours: This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week. Although the role is advertised as full time, if you believe you have the skills and experience to join us and would like to discuss different working patterns, please do get in touch.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £47,181 to £52,413 (City Pay Band 7), pro rata for part time.
Location: This is flexible – working in Cambridge on site or at one of our offices or working from home. You will be able to balance your work location accordingly.
