We have a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a genuine desire to take personal responsibility in delivering excellent customer service as part of our housing team, jointly overseeing the day-to-day management of our Tenancy Management team. This is a new, additional post within the team. In this exciting role you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering tenancy management services, including overseeing the day-to-day delivery of our tenancy audit programme
  • Engaging directly with tenants, leaseholders, councillors, resident representatives, and partner agencies across Cambridge
  • Direct line management of officers within our Tenancy Management team
  • Project Management

Our ideal candidate will have worked in social housing management and will have detailed knowledge of housing legislation and procedures to be a technical expert in tenancy management. You will work on your own initiative, manage a busy workload, and you will join us with a proven ability to lead teams dealing with complex and varied caseloads. Strong line management experience is a must, along with the ability to build effective relationships and excellent knowledge of key safeguarding principles.

Hours: This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week.

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £47,181 - £52,413 per annum (City Pay Band 7), pro rata for part time.

Location: This is flexible – working in Cambridge on site or at one of our offices or working from home. You will be able to balance your work location accordingly.
