International Tax Analyst – 12-month fixed-term contract, Cambridge Associates, London, United Kingdom. This full-time on-site role offers opportunities for career growth.

CA provides outsourced CIO, non-discretionary portfolio management, and investment consulting. The firm maintains offices worldwide with headquarters in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns for various non-U.S. entities; ensure timely filing and compliance across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Support direct and indirect tax compliance across EMEA and Asia Pacific, including FATCA, CRS, and other filings.
  • Reconcile books and tax records to ensure accuracy and completeness; analyse internal tax files and support tax reporting requirements.
  • Assist with annual audits and tax assessments; liaise with Operations and Accounting to understand tax implications of business decisions, new clients, and other items.
  • Be the primary point of contact with external tax advisers to ensure timely tax filings; communicate tax matters, progress, and issues clearly to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation; contribute to continual best practices within the tax department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in tax (preferred), accounting, or finance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts and taxation; experience with international taxes (tax provisioning or international corporate income tax compliance).
  • Experience with business taxes and indirect taxes (VAT/GST) a plus.
  • Working with Oracle reports and systems a plus.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills; strong oral and written communication with discretion handling sensitive information, including compensation.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary range: Minimum 56,400; Maximum 73,300. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Actual placement within the salary range will be based on skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
