Job Description Summary: The Senior Analyst, Enterprise VMO, plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s third-party risk management and due diligence processes. This position is primarily responsible for conducting vendor risk assessments, managing due diligence activities, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, with a particular focus on UK and EMEA jurisdictions. The Senior Analyst will also serve as a liaison with regulatory and compliance teams across the UK and EMEA regions. Over time, the role may expand to include support for international procurement initiatives.
Vendor Risk & Due Diligence
- Lead and execute end-to-end vendor risk assessments, including initial and ongoing due diligence for new and existing vendors.
- Analyze vendor responses, identify potential risks, and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Maintain and update vendor risk profiles and documentation in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to ensure vendor engagements align with risk appetite and compliance standards.
- Conduct annual scorecarding of key vendors, evaluating performance, risk, and compliance metrics to inform ongoing relationship management and decision-making.
Regulatory & Compliance Coordination
- Serve as a key point of contact for UK and EMEA regulatory and compliance teams on vendor-related matters.
- Monitor and interpret relevant regulatory developments (e.g., DORA, FCA, PRA, GDPR) impacting third-party risk management.
- Support the implementation of regulatory changes, ensuring vendor management practices remain compliant.
- Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and responses to regulatory inquiries or audits as needed.
International Procurement Support (Secondary)
- Assist with the development and execution of international procurement strategies and processes.
- Support sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management activities as required.
- Collaborate with global procurement and legal teams to ensure alignment with firm-wide objectives.
Process Improvement & Stakeholder Engagement
- Identify opportunities to enhance vendor risk management and due diligence processes.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, Enterprise Risk, IT Security, and business units.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Law, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CTPRP, CISM) preferred.
- Experience in vendor risk management, third-party due diligence, compliance, or a related discipline, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK and EMEA regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA, PRA, GDPR) as they pertain to vendor management.
- Experience with procurement processes and contract management is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional, international environment.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Base salary range for this role: Pay Range Minimum: 65300 Pay Range Maximum: 84900. In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
