The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance Business Partnering to lead our Finance Business Partnering team and provide strategic financial support across our schools. This is a key leadership role, working closely with school leaders and the Finance Director to ensure robust financial management, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial leadership and operational support across CLT schools.
- Lead and manage the Finance Business Partnering team.
- Support schools with budget setting, monitoring, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Trust-wide financial policies and procedures.
- Oversee onboarding of new schools and ensure consistent financial processes.
- Support month-end procedures, statutory returns, and year-end audits.
- Lead systems projects (e.g., Iplicit, BPS, Edupay) and provide training and technical support.
- Promote best practice and continuous improvement in financial operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in financial leadership, preferably within education or the public sector.
- Strong understanding of financial compliance, reporting, and systems administration.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing and developing teams.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to financial management.
