As a PE Teacher, you will:
- Deliver PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Provide general cover for planned lessons
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
- Support students in developing physical skills, teamwork, and confidence
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment during practical activities
- Follow existing schemes of work and lesson resources provided by the school
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is desirable
- Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Ability to quickly build positive relationships with students
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, Class Act are subject to safeguarding checks in line with the DfE's statutory guidance Including reference checks and an Enhanced DBS check either registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
