Must have minimum of WJEC Level 3 Children’s Care, Play, Learning and Development: Core or City and Guilds Level 3 Children’s Care, Play, Learning and Development: Practice/WJEC Level 3 Children’s Care, Play, Learning and Development: Practice and Theory or equivalent. Level 2 may be considered depending on experience. Please note that if you have an English Qualification, you will be required to complete the Social Care Wales Framework for Wales.
ALN Experience Necessary. FROM JANUARY 2026 – TERM TIME ONLY. Caego Day Nursery is looking for a reliable, fun, enthusiastic and energetic team member, to work as part of our team. Our ethos is “where every child is loved” and this is followed through at every level.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to children and will work closely with children to foster their development and ensure a safe, nurturing environment. We are a very established childcare setting and are looking for an individual that has the following:
- Genuine love of children.
- Sensitive to their unique needs.
- Excellent communication skills with both staff and children.
- The ability to use own initiative, plan and undertake activities for children of all ages.
- Motivated with a great sense of humour.
- Can sing rhymes all day (even if it’s out of tune)!
Relevant childcare qualifications required: Must have ALN experience and Level 3 or above qualification in Childcare.
Hours will be: Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.15am to 11.45am – TERM TIME ONLY. Rate of pay: Dependant on experience. Job Type: Part‑time.
