We have the opportunity for a new vacancy of Procurement Intern to join the European Corporate Procurement team.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Central Procurement team who will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and on-boarding of suppliers into ARIBA, our procurement and supplier management platform. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in procurement operations, supplier management, and digital tools in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier On‑boarding
    • Assist with supplier data collection, validation, and entry into ARIBA.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely submission of required documentation.
    • Monitor the progress of on‑boarding and follow up to address delays or issues.
  • ARIBA Implementation Support
    • Provide administrative support during ARIBA supplier implementation.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth transitions to the ARIBA platform.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies in supplier profiles and information.
  • Data Management and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date supplier records.
    • Generate reports to track on‑boarding progress and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Communication and Coordination
    • Serve as a point of contact for suppliers regarding ARIBA‑related queries.
    • Support the Procurement team in coordinating training sessions or informational meetings with suppliers.
  • Process Improvement
    • Assist in identifying inefficiencies in the on‑boarding process and propose solutions.
    • Support team initiatives to optimize the supplier implementation process.

Education and Experience

The successful applicant will currently pursue or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred experience

  • Familiarity with ARIBA or similar procurement platforms is a plus.
  • Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative roles is advantageous.
