Role Purpose: To provide a logistics service by:
- Ensuring that vehicles, goods and people are safely, securely and efficiently moved inside and outside of the force area.
- Ensuring a general caretaking/porter service and day to day minor maintenance, cleanliness/housekeeping, safety and security of designated areas.
You will be required to demonstrate in your application the minimum requirement for the role:
- The role requires applicants who can demonstrate (with evidence) skills in the following areas:
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent level of education or possess an equivalent amount of proven relevant experience.
- Good communication skills.
- The post holder will be required to drive Force vehicles; therefore will need to possess a full driving licence and pass the NWP driver competency test.
- Awareness/Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations, Control of Substance Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and Manual Handling.
- Minor repair and maintenance skills.
