The Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Administration & Purchase Ledger Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in business administration, finance, and office support while gaining a recognised apprenticeship qualification. The successful candidate will receive hands‑on training and support whilst learning all aspects of business administration and purchase ledger processes within an office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Assisting with purchase ledger reconciliations.
  • Supporting supplier payment runs.
  • Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records.
  • Handling incoming telephone calls and emails professionally.
  • Assisting with general office administration duties.
  • Filing, scanning, and archiving documentation.
  • Updating internal databases and spreadsheets.
  • Supporting various departments with administrative tasks as required.
  • Communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding invoice queries.
  • Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company procedures.
