At North Wales Police we have a great opportunity for an Apprentice with our Information Assurance team to provide general administration and support. To obtain a solid grounding in digital skills for business within North Wales Police and to work towards the completion of a Level 2 Digital Skills for Business qualification. The training programme will include general administration within the designated business area within North Wales Police.
Key accountabilities for the Information Assurance Apprentice opportunity include:
- Maintain an effective and efficient manual and electronic filing system.
- Under supervision, process information rights requests in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and those made under the ACPO ABI MOU (2022) agreement from UK insurers.
- Produce standard business correspondence and reports.
- Provide administrative support in respect of meetings. This may include attending meetings and taking minutes if required.
- Data inputting and processing utilising a variety of any required IT packages. Training will be provided for any bespoke Force packages.
- Work closely with other team members to support various functions and contribute to team objectives.
You will be required to demonstrate in your application the minimum requirement for the role:
- 4 GCSE’s at Grade C or above or equivalent level of qualification (to include Maths and English) for those awaiting their GCSE Results please provide predicted grades.
- IT skills and an understanding of Microsoft Office or similar IT packages.
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to work well in a team.
- Self-motivated and flexible.
