We have a fantastic opportunity for a legal cashier to join our Accounts team. Experience is not required as our team in Accounts will be there to teach you what you need to know. The role will be to support and participate in the client work undertaken by the team and is a full-time office-based position in the centre of Chester working Monday to Friday 8:45 am to 5:15 pm.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing the firm’s financial transactions in line with the Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Performing bank reconciliations, client ledger postings, and TT/BACS payments
- Processing bills, credit notes, and handling staff expenses and petty cash
- Producing month-end reports and supporting general financial administration
- Using our case management system (Leap) to maintain accurate records
- Using Xero to record all business transactions
- Resolving routine problems and queries
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Skills & Experience
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Teams
- Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
