Salary: NJC Scale 3, points 5 to 6 (£25,583 to £25,989 per annum FTE - pay award pending). Actual salary £11,860.73 per annum on point 5.

Contract: Permanent. 20 hours per week - some flexibility with hours and days - to be discussed. Term time plus 5 training days (39 weeks per year).

Are you a caring, organised and proactive individual who enjoys supporting young people? Cambourne Village College is seeking a dedicated First Aid Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a rewarding role at the heart of our school community, providing first aid and medical support to students throughout the school day.

Working closely with our First Aid Support Coordinator, you will help manage the day-to-day operation of the First Aid Room, respond to medical needs, maintain accurate records, administer medication in line with school procedures, and liaise with parents, staff and healthcare professionals to ensure students receive the support they need.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment. A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people is essential.

This position would suit someone with experience in a first aid, healthcare, education, pastoral support or administrative role who is passionate about making a positive difference to the wellbeing of students.
