We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed SENCO to join our highly committed team from September 2026. The Special Educational Needs department is well established, providing resources to enable all children to access the whole curriculum. This role will further develop and lead SEND within the school, enhancing support for learners with SEN.
Responsibilities
- Implement the SEN Code of Practice and support SEND students in close partnership with teaching staff, parents and carers.
- Develop and maintain learning resources within the Centre for SEND.
- Monitor and track the progress of pupils with SEN support and those with EHCPs to ensure consistently high attainment.
- Liaise with a wide range of external professionals to support student progress.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills in developing and leading the SEN team.
