This is a senior position within an outsourced tax function team, acting as the dedicated US tax expert for a portfolio of leading mid-market private funds across PE, Real Estate, Credit and Secondaries. The role spans the full fund lifecycle.
During structuring, you'll be working with counsel to think through practical US tax considerations and flagging where external specialist advice may be needed. Post-close, you'll take the lead on the US reporting process on behalf of clients, directing outsourced providers including Big 4 firms through the annual cycle and acting as the senior point of contact for fund executives on US tax matters.
What We're Looking For:
- 6+ years of US tax experience in the alternatives space
- Strong technical knowledge of partnership taxation and US reporting obligations (Forms 1065, Schedule K-1 etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
