We are working with a leading global alternative investment platform to hire a Senior Associate or Associate into a Portfolio / Fund Analytics team based in London. This role sits at the core of investment decision-making, supporting complex real estate and credit (NPL) portfolios. The team is recognised as a market leader in how it builds systems and leverages data, with outputs directly influencing strategy, performance, and capital allocation. This is an opportunity to move beyond a traditional finance role into a highly commercial position with direct exposure to investment professionals and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and presentation of portfolio analytics and performance reporting for senior management
- Ownership of portfolio valuations, liquidity management, and financial oversight
- Development of high-quality, data-driven models and performance tools
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning across European portfolios
- Involvement in deal activity (pre- and post-acquisition)
- Delivery of board-level materials and insights
Candidate Profile
- c. 4–6 years’ experience in a relevant role (real estate, credit, or complex portfolios)
- ACA / ACCA / CFA (or equivalent) preferred
- Strong analytical and modelling capability (advanced Excel essential)
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and financial models
- Commercial mindset with an interest in moving closer to investment decision-making
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders
