You will be working for a growing Lloyd’s Broker specialising in Marine insurance business, with a network of offices operating in many main maritime hubs around the world.
The business is multi-cultural and we are looking to recruit for a Senior Account Handler. We can service any type of marine coverage but with the majority of our clients set on: Hull & Machinery / Increased Value / Freight Interest, P&I, War Risks, Kidnap & Ransom, Yachts. We place the business produced from our other group offices along with working directly with clients and other producing players. We therefore see a very wide variety of accounts and have vast experience in dealing with all types of tonnage, records, clients and trading.
Responsibilities include:
- Handling own portfolio of accounts, within sub teams, including both Brokers and Account Handlers.
- Ability to create open market MRC’s and facility declaration off-slips and endorsements.
- Review and/or prepare all the necessary documentation to be handed to the Technical team for processing risks details into our inhouse broking system.
This is a pivotal role within the company and therefore demands a responsible and flexible attitude.
Requirements:
- Previous Marine Hull & War experience, with multinational exposure.
- Able to effectively prioritise your workload, manage time and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel and Outlook or similar software applications).
- Knowledge of Italian language.
