You'll work closely with the Assistant Regional Manager, an experienced Registered Manager, learning the ins and outs of running a successful children’s home while still staying hands‑on with the young people and team. No being stuck behind a desk all day - we want someone who enjoys building relationships, creating positive experiences for young people, and leading a team that genuinely cares. You'll be involved in:

  • Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the home
  • Helping lead and motivate the team
  • Creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for young people
  • Supporting care planning and safeguarding
  • Developing staff and helping new team members grow
  • Working alongside professionals, families, and external agencies
  • Learning everything you need to progress into a Registered Manager role
    Relevant Experience: At least 2 years in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
  • Qualifications: Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care is essential. We will fund and guide you through Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted and residential childcare regulations
  • Confidence leading shifts and supporting staff
  • The drive to learn and progress
  • Driving License: Full UK required.
