Responsibilities

  • Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations.
  • Planning team rotas to support the Deputy and home manager in various meetings and appointments.
  • Assisting the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose.
  • To carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager.
  • To supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager.
  • Welcome a diverse culture in the home.
  • Creating a safe, family environment for the children.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • You MUST be 21 due to Ofsted regulations.
  • Driving is essential due to locations of the homes.
  • You must have at least six months' experience in Children's residential care and you must hold a relevant level 3 qualification.
  • Enrolled on to a workplace pension scheme after three months of employment.

  • Shifts consist of long hours and sleep ins (which are essential) and the hours differ depending on which home you are based in.
